Public-benefit work should be able to explain its own claims

Public-benefit organizations carry a particular responsibility because visible activity can easily be mistaken for demonstrated impact. Responsible service becomes more credible when the organization can explain what it intended, what it did, what it observed and what it learned without inflating the conclusion.
